Review Before Payment

Customers are responsible for reviewing the selected service, listing, business, duration, price and order details before authorizing payment.

No Return / No Refund Policy

Unless otherwise expressly stated for a particular service or required under applicable law, all purchases of virtual, digital and service-based products made directly through AGARTALA.BUSINESS are treated as final once the purchased service has been activated, applied, delivered, provisioned or otherwise made available in accordance with the order.

Because these products generally involve digital access, directory privileges, listing-related actions, verification, promotional visibility or other non-physical services, there is no physical product capable of being returned to AGARTALA.BUSINESS.

Accordingly, there is ordinarily no return, exchange or refund for a correctly purchased and successfully activated virtual service.

This policy does not exclude any refund, remedy or consumer right that must be provided under applicable law and cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement.

1. Scope of this Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to products and services purchased directly from AGARTALA.BUSINESS through the website, checkout system or another payment facility expressly operated on behalf of the platform.

It applies primarily to virtual, digital and service-based products supplied by AGARTALA.BUSINESS.

This policy does not govern purchases made directly from independent businesses, restaurants, professionals, event organizers, transportation providers or other third parties listed or linked through the directory. Refunds relating to those independent transactions are governed by the relevant seller or service provider and applicable law.

2. Nature of Our Products

Products offered directly through AGARTALA.BUSINESS are primarily virtual or service-based products.

Depending on the services available at the time of purchase, these may include:

  • business listing-related services;
  • business listing claim services;
  • business verification services;
  • verified listing status or related digital features;
  • featured listing services;
  • promotional visibility;
  • directory-related digital services;
  • event or organizer-related platform services;
  • other virtual services made available through the platform.

These services do not ordinarily involve shipment of a physical product.

3. No Physical Returns

AGARTALA.BUSINESS does not ordinarily sell returnable physical products through the services covered by this policy.

Because the products are virtual, digital or service-based, there is generally no physical item to return after purchase.

Therefore, traditional product returns, replacement shipments and physical exchanges do not apply to these virtual products and services.

4. No Refund Policy

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular service or required by applicable law, payments for virtual or digital services are non-refundable after the purchased service has been activated, applied, delivered, provisioned or otherwise made available.

No Return β€’ No Exchange β€’ No Refund

A successfully purchased and activated virtual service cannot ordinarily be returned, exchanged or refunded merely because the customer subsequently decides not to use the service.

Customers should therefore carefully review all product information, pricing, duration, listing details and service conditions before completing payment.

5. Business Claim Services

Where a customer purchases a paid service associated with claiming or obtaining management access to a business listing, the customer is responsible for ensuring that they are the business owner or are properly authorized to represent the business.

A customer should not purchase a claim-related service for a business that they do not own or have authority to represent.

Once the claim-related service has been successfully processed or activated, the service is ordinarily non-refundable, subject to applicable law.

6. Business Verification Services

Payment for a verification service relates to the verification process or verification-related platform service described at the time of purchase.

Payment does not entitle a customer to provide false, incomplete or misleading information and does not prevent AGARTALA.BUSINESS from reviewing the continued validity of verification status.

Verification may be withheld, suspended or removed where the applicable verification requirements are not satisfied, information is materially inaccurate, ownership is disputed, or platform rules are violated.

Once a verification service has been processed or activated, the payment is ordinarily non-refundable merely because the customer later changes their mind or ceases to use the listing, subject to applicable law.

7. Featured Listings and Promotional Services

Payments for featured listings, promotional placement or enhanced visibility relate to the digital promotional service described at the time of purchase.

Once the applicable promotional period has commenced or the feature has been activated, the service is ordinarily non-refundable.

Featured or promotional services do not guarantee a particular number of impressions, views, enquiries, calls, website visits, leads, customers, sales or other commercial results.

Failure to obtain a desired commercial result does not, by itself, create an entitlement to a refund.

8. Incorrect Product or Service Selected

Customers are responsible for checking the product or service selected before completing payment.

This includes checking the relevant business listing, service type, duration, account, quantity where applicable, price and other order information displayed during checkout.

A customer selecting the wrong virtual product, wrong listing or wrong service does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund after the purchased service has already been activated or delivered.

9. Change of Mind

A change of mind after purchase does not ordinarily qualify for a refund once a virtual product or service has been activated, applied, provisioned or delivered.

Customers should therefore decide whether the service is appropriate for their requirements before authorizing payment.

10. Failed, Pending or Interrupted Payments

A payment may occasionally fail, remain pending or be interrupted because of a payment gateway, bank, UPI provider, card network, internet connection, authentication process or another technical circumstance.

A failed payment for which no successful charge is completed does not constitute a completed purchase.

If a user’s account appears to have been debited but the corresponding order is not shown as successfully paid, the user should retain the payment or transaction reference and contact us for review where necessary.

Users should avoid repeatedly making the same payment while a transaction remains pending unless they have confirmed the status of the previous transaction.

11. Duplicate Payments

The no-refund policy is not intended to allow AGARTALA.BUSINESS to retain an accidental duplicate payment for the same transaction where the duplicate charge is confirmed.

If a customer reasonably believes that the same order has been charged more than once, the customer should contact us with the order number, transaction references and relevant payment information.

Confirmed duplicate transactions may be corrected or refunded as appropriate after verification of the payment records.

12. Payment Processing

Orders may be managed through WooCommerce, while supported online payments may be processed through Razorpay or another payment facility made available at checkout.

Banks, UPI providers, card issuers, payment gateways and other payment-system participants operate systems that are outside the direct control of AGARTALA.BUSINESS.

Processing times, payment reversals, failed transactions and other banking or gateway matters may therefore depend on the relevant financial service provider.

13. Activation and Delivery of Virtual Services

A virtual service may be considered activated or delivered when the relevant listing privilege, verification process, featured status, promotional placement, account benefit, digital access or other purchased functionality has been applied, commenced, provisioned or made available.

Activation may occur automatically through the website or after administrative processing, depending on the service.

Once activation or delivery has occurred, the applicable service is ordinarily non-returnable and non-refundable, subject to mandatory rights under applicable law.

14. Suspension for Violation of Platform Rules

A customer is not ordinarily entitled to a refund merely because their account, listing, verification, promotional feature or other platform privilege is restricted or removed as a consequence of fraud, misuse, unauthorized activity, false information, violation of platform rules or material breach of the Terms & Conditions.

Any such action will remain subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the particular case.

15. Closure, Transfer or Removal of a Business

If a business closes, changes ownership, relocates, ceases operations or no longer wishes to maintain its directory presence after a purchased virtual service has been activated, the unused preference or decision of the business owner does not ordinarily create an entitlement to a refund.

Where ownership changes, access to or control of the listing may be reviewed separately according to the platform’s claim and verification procedures.

16. No Guarantee of Commercial Results

Purchasing a listing-related, verification, featured or promotional service does not guarantee any particular commercial outcome.

AGARTALA.BUSINESS does not guarantee a specific number of search impressions, page views, calls, enquiries, leads, customers, bookings, sales, revenue or search-engine positions unless a specific written service expressly states otherwise.

Failure to achieve a customer’s expected commercial result does not, by itself, constitute failure to deliver the purchased virtual service and does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.

17. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers who believe that a transaction has been charged incorrectly are encouraged to contact us with the relevant order and payment information so that the transaction can be reviewed.

Submitting false information in connection with a payment dispute or intentionally misrepresenting a legitimately authorized and delivered transaction may result in account review or other appropriate action, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising a legitimate right available through their bank, payment provider, card issuer or applicable law.

18. Mandatory Legal Rights

The purpose of this policy is to establish a clear no-return and no-refund framework for virtual products and services where such a policy is legally permissible.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or attempts to waive any refund, remedy, consumer protection or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Where applicable law requires a refund, correction, replacement remedy or another form of relief in particular circumstances, the applicable legal requirement will prevail over any inconsistent provision of this policy.

19. Changes to this Policy

AGARTALA.BUSINESS may revise this Refund & Returns Policy from time to time to reflect changes to products, services, payment arrangements, platform functionality, business practices or applicable legal requirements.

The current version may be published on this page with an updated effective or revision date.

The policy applicable to a completed transaction will be considered together with any service-specific terms presented in connection with that transaction and applicable law.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Refund & Returns Policy and purchases made directly through AGARTALA.BUSINESS shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.

Subject to any mandatory statutory rights, remedies, authorities or forums that cannot lawfully be excluded, the courts having competent jurisdiction at Agartala, Tripura shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to this policy, a covered purchase or the corresponding service.

Important Notice

This Refund & Returns Policy should be read together with the AGARTALA.BUSINESS Terms & Conditions, Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and any service-specific information displayed before checkout.

Customers are strongly encouraged to review the selected virtual product or service and all order details before authorizing payment because successfully activated virtual services are ordinarily non-returnable and non-refundable.

No provision of this policy is intended to exclude a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
